Gotham Development is a boutique luxury home builder servicing clients in Houston, Texas. We build and remodel homes in & around Central Houston, specializing in high-density construction from inner-city homes & town homes to mid-rise apartment and condo projects. We offer complete real estate project & construction management services for investors as well as construction management services and hands on custom design build services. We work directly with investors and developers to create spec homes and developments as well as directly with homeowners to build custom homes. We offer full architectural and interior and exterior design services for those clients searching for a full-service firm.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, adaptable Assistant Project Manager to join our rapidly growing team We have an amazing web presence, recognizable brand, great reputation and top-notch customer reviews. In this role, you will assist leadership with construction-related and general administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily opening, closing, and general inspection of company jobsites to monitor progress, and ensure jobsite security.
  • Maintain jobsite cleanliness; ensure trash, debris, tools, and building materials are left in a clean and orderly fashion each day.
  • Inspect jobsites thoroughly to identify and rectify defects.
  • Gather, send, sort, and distribute mail.
  • Drafts written responses or replies by phone or e-mail when necessary.
  • Openly communicate with Upper Management re the status of all jobsites, opportunities, challenges, etc, respond in a timely fashion to regularly occurring requests for information.
  • Creating / managing punch lists of materials needed to complete projects
  • Ordering, purchasing, delivering, moving & carting various building materials needed to/from/between jobsites, suppliers, contractors, vendors, clients.
  • Provides support for and managing administrative tasks including but not limited to: Banking, email messages, phone calls, calendar invites, meetings, travel arrangements.
  • Other assignments as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual, English & Spanish language verbal comptetency.
  • 3+ years of experience in general construction or project management.
  • Technologically proficient, including e-mail, CRM, tablets, smartphones, applications, etc.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Strong organizational & time management with strong attention to detail and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
