As a Patrol Officer within a bustling retail location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for customers and staff. You will provide friendly and professional customer service, maintain a visible presence, and communicate with visitors and team members. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any security-related concerns, hazards, or unusual activity encountered during patrols within the premises.
• Work collaboratively with store personnel and local law enforcement, when necessary, to address security-related incidents.
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related occurrences.
• Assist customers and visitors with directions, information, and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
