Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Position Summary:
Full time position rotating through different areas of acute care including general med/surg, cardiac, ortho, neuro, oncology, and ICU. Interest or experience in acute care management of vertigo or lymphedema welcomed. Optional rotations also available in one or more of the following specialty areas: outpatient neuro, wound care, and/or outpatient ortho if interested. Schedule consists of five 8-hr days per week. Every 4th weekend, and one holiday per year, with 2 days off when working a weekend. Previous experience in acute care setting strongly preferred.
Provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions. This position uses a variety of physical therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned.
Work Schedule:
1.00 FTE, Five 8-hr days per week between 8am-5pm. Schedule includes every 4th weekend, with 2 days off during the week when working weekend. Also one holiday per year.
Required Qualifications:
Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
Doctorate, master's, or bachelor's degree in physical therapy
Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy
Preferred Qualifications:
Recommend experience as a Physical Therapist preferably in a medical setting.
Recommend membership in related professional organization.
- Proficient with communication and data processing equipment.
- Proficient in clinical equipment related to area of expertise.
- Proficient in organization electronic medical record software.
