We are looking for a compassionate, flexible, and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing OB/GYN practice. In this role, you will support physicians and physician assistants in delivering high-quality care to patients, assisting with both clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. A positive attitude, adaptability, and commitment to teamwork are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with examinations and treatments as directed by physicians or physician assistants in an OB/GYN clinical setting.
  • Set up trays, instruments, and equipment for in-office procedures, including Vulvoscopy, IUD insertion/removal, Nexplanon insertion/removal, LEEP, Colposcopy, Hysteroscopy, and Incision & Drainage.
  • Set up patients on Non-Stress Tests (NST) and ensure accurate monitoring.
  • Assist providers during LEEP and hysteroscopy procedures.
  • Administer injections, draw blood, perform point-of-care testing (POCT), and run urine samples.
  • Conduct patient intake by obtaining vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms, and document accurately in the EMR system.
  • Prepare, clean, and maintain exam rooms to ensure a safe and organized environment.
  • Perform autoclaving and sterilization of instruments in compliance with infection control standards.
  • Escort patients to and from exam rooms, ensuring comfort and excellent patient care throughout the visit.
  • Manage inventory by ordering, organizing, and restocking medical supplies.
  • Collaborate with providers, clinical staff, and administrative team members to ensure efficient workflow and high patient satisfaction.

Qualifications (Required):

  • Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) — or ability to obtain certification within 6 months
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Active CPR Certification
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Medical Assistant
  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented mindset and willingness to be flexible across multiple practice locations
  • Bilingual skills a plus
