Job Description
This role is to assist the Facilities Manager with multi-tenant building operations as the primary point of contact with tenants, visitors and guests. An assistant to the Facility Manager is also required to be skilled in all areas of building maintenance, security protocols and procedures. The position assists manager with all aspects of multi-tenant building vendor services, the security system, environmental systems and facility conditions. This position will be tasked with forming CPI processes and is accountable for the timely and streamlined process of building operations. This role also has responsibility for training/conference room setup scheduling and operations.

Day to Day

  • Serve as support to facility manager. Must have full understanding of managers' responsibilities and be able to react appropriately in their absence
  • Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, attention to detail, and meet deadlines
  • Monitor and manage security cameras and access control (badging) systems
  • Manage and administer the visitor management system
  • Manage the multi-tenant conference center reservation system
  • Must have proven ability to handle and organize multiple projects
  • Schedules for maintenance of facility equipment and building systems
  • Inventory control
  • Project management
  • All other duties as assigned

  • Requires a lot of flexibility and mobility in and around the company's premises.
  • Fast paced "hands on" position
  • Involves handling heavy items
  • 24x7 on-call availability.

Essentials

  • Several years of experience as a facility technician
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A pleasant personality and the ability to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage stress effectively.
  • Proficiency in using conference room AV systems

Education and Other Credentials

  • Associate's degree in relevant field required, or equivalent experience
  • PC skills in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks/requests
  • Project management skills

DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.

This position is subject to the terms of DLL's compensation plans and policies. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
