Job Summary

We are seeking a highly dedicated and disciplined Armored Commissioned Security Officer who will be responsible for the safe, secure, and efficient transportation of currency, valuables, and other high-value assets between client locations and company facilities. This position requires a commissioned security officer license issued by the Arkansas State Police, the ability to operate motor vehicles safely, and adherence to all security protocols and company procedures.

Duties

  • Operate a motor vehicle in a safe and defensive manner while following all traffic laws and company policies.
  • Provide armed protection and maintain situational awareness during all times.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with clients and the public.
  • Perform vehicle inspections, safety checks, and ensure the security of equipment and cargo before, during, and after each route.
  • Accurately complete all route paperwork, logs, and reports.
  • Respond to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies in accordance with company policy and training.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and fellow crew members to ensure route efficiency and security.
  • Comply with all Arkansas State Police regulations governing commissioned private security officers.
  • Participate in ongoing firearms proficiency, defensive driving, and security training as required.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid Arkansas driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation, drug screening, and firearms qualification.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
  • Available to complete required training.

Preferred Skills & Attributes

  • Prior experience in armored transport or cash-in-transit operations.
  • Knowledge of defensive driving and threat assessment techniques.
  • CPR/First Aid certification a plus.
  • Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and sound judgment.

Working Conditions

  • Work is primarily conducted in and around motor vehicles and client sites.
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions and physical demands associated with loading/unloading cargo.
  • Requires wearing company-issued uniform and safety gear at all times.
  • Firearms must be carried and used in strict accordance with company and state regulations.
