Position Overview

Momen Tax Services is seeking an experienced Tax Manager – Client Advisory to join our fast-growing in-office team.

This is a senior, heavily client-facing advisory role for a tax professional who is comfortable leading conversations, explaining strategy, and delivering tax plans in close collaboration with Jasmine.

While the firm's brand is strongly tied to Jasmine's personal reputation as a sought-after tax strategist, this role is essential in co-delivering client strategy and meetings, allowing her to focus across a broader set of engagements while maintaining a consistent, high-touch client experience.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being "in the room" with clients and takes pride in guiding conversations—not someone looking to stay exclusively behind the scenes. How Client Relationships Are Structured

• For select existing clients, you will co-lead meetings alongside Jasmine during the first 6–12 months, including:
• Tax planning kickoff calls
• Quarterly advisory meetings
• Tax return review meetings
• For new client engagements, you will more quickly lead client meetings directly

All client delivery is collaborative, aligned, and executed under the Momen Tax Services brand.

What You'll Do:

Client Advisory & Delivery (Primary Focus)

• Lead and co-lead tax planning kickoff calls
• Facilitate quarterly advisory meetings and strategic check-ins
• Conduct tax return review meetings, clearly explaining outcomes, savings, and next steps
• Partner closely with Jasmine to deliver and execute client tax strategies
• Translate complex tax concepts into clear, confident guidance clients can act on

A significant portion of this role involves live client conversations. Comfort, clarity, and confidence in meetings are essential.

Tax Strategy & Technical Oversight:

• Research and apply advanced tax planning strategies
• Stay current on tax law changes and IRS guidance
• Review tax returns for accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment

Team & Firm Development

• Train and mentor internal tax staff
• Develop and maintain internal tax planning resources
• Support the continued evolution of the firm's advisory services

Day 90 / Year 1 Success Profile:

By Day 90, You Are:

• Fully integrated into the firm's advisory workflow and client experience
• Confidently leading or co-leading kickoff, quarterly, and return review meetings
• Comfortable representing the firm in client-facing conversations
• Collaborating seamlessly with Jasmine on strategy and delivery

By Year 1, You Are:

• Leading client meetings for new engagements with confidence and consistency
• Serving as a trusted advisory presence for select existing clients alongside Jasmine
• Helping reduce Jasmine's direct meeting load while maintaining client trust and satisfaction
• Recognized internally as a key contributor to the firm's advisory delivery and scalability

What You Need to Succeed

• 4-5+ years of experience in tax planning and advisory (individuals & small businesses)
• 2-3+ years of leadership or management experience
• Active CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) license required
• Strong client-facing communication skills and meeting presence
• Ability to explain complex tax strategy clearly and confidently
• Strong organization, follow-through, and time management
• Collaborative, ego-free, solution-oriented mindset

Compensation & Perks:

• Salary: $115,000 – $130,000 (based on experience)
