Data Analyst

Patron Points, Inc. is looking for a passionate, motivated Data Analyst to join our dynamic team at our office in Woodbury, MN. This role is crucial for driving data-informed decision-making across our organization. You will work on large-scale data and analytics projects that involve gathering, integrating, and analyzing massive datasets to uncover meaningful insights and actionable recommendations. You will have an opportunity to work with cutting-edge data and business analytics projects in a collaborative environment where your insights drive real business impact. This is a full-time, in-office position at our Headquarters in MN.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Data Pipeline: Gather, integrate, and perform Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) on large volumes of data from multiple internal and external sources into analytics-ready formats.
- Analysis: Clean, analyze, and interpret data using statistical techniques and analytical tools to support critical business questions and operations.
- Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations that effectively communicate clear, data-driven findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business questions into effective data solutions.
- Strategy & Monitoring: Measure and monitor the results of implemented recommendations, providing necessary adjustments and refinements.
- Compliance: Ensure all data acquisition, sharing, and analysis activities comply with company policies and standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of business or data analyst experience.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proven experience with data analysis, visualization, and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of statistical methods and tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI), with an aptitude for learning other analytics tools.
- Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
- Core Competencies:
- Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated attention to detail.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
