As an Armed Patrol Officer at a large retail location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This position requires both armed certification and a valid driver's license, as you will be conducting patrols by vehicle and/or on foot. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including both the business interior and the perimeter.
• Monitor for and report suspicious activity, helping to deter theft and/or unwanted behavior within the retail environment.
• Work collaboratively with store personnel and/or visitors to address security-related concerns as they arise.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and/or routine activities as required by Allied Universal policies.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential security-related incidents and provide reassurance to employees and/or customers.
• Follow all Allied Universal procedures and client-specific protocols while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or 5 years of security-related experience
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Maintain a Level III armed certification in Texas where required by state law.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
