JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Penn State Hazleton and Scranton are accepting applications for part-time Machine Shop Safety Instructors.

Instructors will teach a Machine Shop Safety Training Program with an overview of OSHA bench grinding safety including:

  • Pedestal Grinders
  • General machinery safety including belt/disc sander
  • Metals safety including horizontal & vertical saws
  • Milling machinery
  • Lathe
  • Circular saw
  • Motorized MITRE box
  • Saw stop safety system

National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) credentials required.
