Water/Wastewater Project Manager – Houston, TX (Hybrid)

I'm partnering with a well-established civil engineering firm in Houston that's looking to bring on a
Water/Wastewater Project Manager
to lead and support a variety of municipal and private-sector infrastructure projects across the Greater Houston area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys managing projects from concept through construction, developing client relationships, and mentoring junior staff in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead the design and permitting of
    water and wastewater systems
    ,
    pump stations
    , and
    treatment facilities
    for both public and private clients.
  • Oversee planning and design efforts for
    utilities, site infrastructure, and civil improvements
    , coordinating with internal teams and public agencies.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring budgets, schedules, and client expectations are met.
  • Partner with firm leadership on business development, client management, and proposal preparation.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Prepare and review reports, proposals, and design documentation to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

What We're Looking For:

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
    in Texas or the ability to obtain through reciprocity.
  • 5+ years of experience
    in water/wastewater engineering, including distribution, collection, and treatment design.
  • Proficiency in
    AutoCAD Civil 3D
    ; experience with hydraulic modeling is a plus.
  • Strong communication and project management skills with a proven ability to lead teams and manage client relationships.
