We're growing - join our World Group family todayAbout This Role: World Group is currently looking for a detail oriented person to join our family as a People Operations Specialist for our growing corporate headquarters in Rocky River, OhioThe People Operations Specialist will operate as a HR Partner for an assigned business unit. The Specialist will provide guidance on Company policies and Compliance matters, manage day-to-day HR operations, support Employee engagement initiatives, and assist in Enterprise focused projects. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on Company policies and proceduresRecommend Employee Relations practices necessary to establish a positive Employer-Employee relationship and support Company Culture and Core ValuesManage and advise on Employee disciplinary and PIP concernsInvestigate and respond to Employee concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional mannerEnsure compliance with Federal & State Employment Laws & RegulationsIdentify opportunities throughout the employee lifecycle to improve the employee experience through culture initiatives, communications, HR programs, etc.Recommend and execute strategies to increase Employee RetentionAssist in the planning, development, design, implementation, and evaluation of programs, events, and activitiesBuild relationships with employees and leaders to increase engagement and participation in the inclusion efforts within assigned business unitPartner with various stakeholders across the organization to design, implement and measure HR program initiativesSupport the coaching of employees for professional growth and leadership developmentParticipates in the Employee orientation processManage Employee and organizational changesManage the Employee off-boarding and exit interview processManage unemployment claims and hearingsParticipate in developing Company and department guidelines and proceduresAssist with Employee accommodations and modified work arrangementsManage or assist with HR projectsWork closely with Benefits and Payroll regarding Employee questionsTravel to assigned Company locations to build relationships with Employees and ManagersProvide back-up support for People Operations GeneralistOther duties as assignedEducation and Experience:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred 3+ years of HR Employee Relations or HR Generalist experienceAttention to detail and ability to multi-task requiredExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills requiredExperience working with a HRIS required. UKG (UltiPro) experience a plusStrong employee/customer relations experienceAdvanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and OutlookAbility and willingness to travel to in-state and out-of-state Company locations (
