Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects across various platforms, utilizing cutting-edge technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, web development, and IT infrastructure, with experience in both front-end and back-end systems. This position is integral to designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications that meet the evolving needs of our organization.

Duties

  • Develop, test, and deploy robust software solutions using languages such as Java, C#, C++, Python, and VBA.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services to support application functionalities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software products on time.
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications built on frameworks like Ruby on Rails, .NET, React, Express, and others.
  • Manage version control systems such as GitHub, SVN, and Git to ensure code integrity and collaboration efficiency.
  • Work with cloud platforms including AWS and Azure to deploy and scale applications effectively.
  • Develop front-end components using JavaScript, React, and related technologies for seamless user experiences.
  • Ensure application security through role-based access control (RBAC) and other best practices.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to Linux servers, SQL databases like MySQL and SQL Server, as well as application bugs.
  • Participate in code reviews, documentation efforts, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies such as quantum engineering principles that could impact future software solutions.

Experience

  • Proven experience in software development across multiple programming languages including Java, C#, C++, Python, VBA, and C.
  • Hands-on experience with web development frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, React, , and RESTful API design.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components including Linux environments, cloud services (AWS & Azure), and database management (MySQL & SQL).
  • Familiarity with version control tools like GitHub, SVN, and Git for collaborative development workflows.
  • Experience working within Agile teams utilizing tools such as Jira or similar project management platforms.
  • Knowledge of application security practices including RBAC implementation.
  • Background in front-end development with JavaScript frameworks like React or similar technologies is preferred.
  • Additional expertise in quantum engineering or advanced computing concepts is a plus but not required.
