Overview:
Camden's Promise Charter School is seeking for a passionate and dedicated Animal Sciences Teacher to join our team. As a Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in various scientific disciplines. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners and foster their love for science.

 

Must have: New Jersey Teaching Certification

 

Required: Bachelor's or higher degree

 

Duties:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum
- Teach students various scientific concepts, including but not limited to trigonometry, organic chemistry, differential equations, genetics, and more
- Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations to enhance students' understanding of scientific principles
- Utilize educational technology and resources to enhance the learning experience
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and critical thinking
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns

 

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
- Valid teaching certification in Science (or equivalent)
- Proven experience teaching science at the middle school or high school level
- Strong knowledge of scientific concepts and principles across various disciplines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to effectively engage students in the learning process
- Proficient in lesson planning and curriculum development
- Familiarity with educational technology tools and resources
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to create a safe and inclusive learning environment

Salary: $60, $80,000.00 per year
