A great UHY client is seeking a
Senior Analyst, HQ Accounting
to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a CPA or working towards one, large company and client experience and 3-5 years of accounting experience, including corporate.

The
Senior Analyst, HQ Accounting
role is a client direct hire. This is a onsite position.

Senior Analyst, HQ Accounting Responsibilities:

  • Record and maintain journal entries for central office activities, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to internal controls.
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations with accuracy and within established deadlines.
  • Ensure that financial transactions are recorded in compliance with relevant accounting standards and organizational policies.
  • Manage the monthly financial close process for central operations.
  • Provide support to internal stakeholders on financial processes, including journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, and monthly close procedures.
  • Prepare quarterly financial reports and analysis packages for leadership review.
  • Collaborate with external accounting service providers to ensure timely and accurate processing of outsourced functions.
  • Coordinate with regional finance teams to manage intercompany billing and reconciliation activities.
  • Support both internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and responses.
  • Assist in maintaining and testing internal controls as part of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance efforts.
  • Lead or contribute to special projects and initiatives as needed.

Senior Analyst, HQ Accounting Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of accounting experience ideally including corporate experience
  • Bachelor degree in accounting or finance
  • SAP and HFM experience preferred
