About this Opportunity

Inmar's Summer Internship Program offers a dynamic and enriching experience designed to give students real-world exposure to a professional environment while contributing meaningfully to company initiatives. Interns will split their time between a high-impact cross-functional team project and department-specific responsibilities assigned by their direct manager.

As a Process Improvement Intern, you'll join a cross-functional team focused on process improvement and quality management. You'll gain hands-on exposure to continuous improvement principles (Lean Six Sigma, TQM, TPM), while working on real projects that close process gaps, standardize workflows, and drive operational excellence.

What You'll Do

• Identify process gaps and challenges within existing or new processes; work with internal partners to close gaps and address issues

• Actively participate in process improvement projects and execute tasks to move them forward

• Support design and administration of programs, policies, and procedures according to company and client objectives

• Assist with special projects supporting corporate operations (e.g., training, project management, standards creation)

• Help develop and maintain tools, metrics, and reporting dashboards to monitor adoption, compliance, and success of new processes

• Regularly communicate opportunities and updates to your manager and cross-functional teams

Your Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related 

• 2-4 years of work experience (part-time or full-time) preparing for a full-time process improvement role in industrial engineering or warehouse operations

• Ideal candidates are looking for experience in logistics (forward or reverse), warehousing, inventory management, or industrial warehouse design and management

• Familiarity with continuous improvement concepts (Lean Six Sigma, TQM, TPM)

• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills

• Comfortable working independently with confidence

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite (Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs, PowerPoint/Slides)

• Excellent project management, organizational, and detail orientation skills

• Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to prepare and present reports and research findings
