Role Overview:
We're seeking an organized and proactive Project Manager to join our growing digital marketing agency. In this role, you'll be the central coordinator for client projects spanning websites, SEO, and advertising services. You'll work cross-functionally with our creative, development, and marketing teams to ensure seamless project execution and exceptional client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination & Planning
- Coordinate cross-functional projects across multiple service lines including website development, SEO, and advertising services.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for client deliverables.
- Manage project scope, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Anticipate project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
Team Collaboration
- Serve as the primary liaison between creative, development, SEO, and paid media teams.
- Facilitate regular team meetings and stand-ups to track progress and remove blockers.
- Ensure clear communication of project requirements, deadlines, and priorities across all teams.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages accountability and teamwork.
Process & Documentation
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including briefs, timelines, and status reports
- Implement and optimize project management workflows and best practices
- Track project performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards before client delivery
Quality Assurance
- Review deliverables before client handoff to ensure they meet brand standards and project requirements
- Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement
- Maintain quality control checklists for different project types
Budget & Invoice Tracking
- Track project hours and costs against budgets
- Collaborate with finance/account teams on invoicing and budget reconciliation
- Alert stakeholders when projects are trending over budget
Client Communication
- Maintain regular communication with Account Managers and or clients regarding project status, timelines, and deliverables
- Manage client expectations and provide proactive updates on project progress
- Coordinate client feedback and ensure timely implementation across teams
Qualifications:
- 3-7 years of project management experience, preferably in a digital marketing or agency environment
- Strong understanding of digital marketing services (websites, SEO, advertising)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience coordinating website development projects
- Familiarity with digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Understanding of SEO principles and best practices
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certification
- Previous experience in an agency setting
