Waterhawk Lake Club is looking for Line Cooks during our busy holiday season. This job would start between the 10th and 17th of November. High volume experience is preferred.

As a Line Cook, you will play a pivotal role in our kitchen, bringing your culinary passion and expertise to life You'll work alongside a dynamic team to prepare and present high-quality dishes that delight our guests. Your creativity and attention to detail will shine as you contribute to menu planning and ensure every meal meets our high standards of excellence. What you'll do

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan menus that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Utilize your knife skills for precise food preparation, ensuring consistency in portion sizes and presentation.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Participate in catering events, providing exceptional service and delicious meals that exceed expectations.
  • Ensure all food handling practices comply with health regulations, promoting safety in the kitchen environment.
  • Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by communicating effectively with fellow cooks and kitchen staff.

Basic qualifications

  • Proven experience in a culinary role within the food industry, preferably in fine dining or restaurant settings.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in high volume kitchens.
  • Attention to details.
  • Strong background in food service operations, including catering experience.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling ingredients.
