Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Systems Analyst / Network Architect
for a
hybrid contract
in
Texas
. This role supports enterprise cloud transformation initiatives by analyzing business and system requirements and designing secure, scalable, and resilient hybrid network architectures that integrate on-premises environments with cloud-native services.

Responsibilities

Understands business objectives and technical problems, identifies alternative solutions, and performs feasibility studies and cost/benefit analysis. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and system constraints to automate processing or improve existing systems. Works closely with stakeholders to evaluate current operational procedures, identify gaps, and define detailed input/output requirements, reporting formats, and workflows. Documents functional and technical requirements, program functions, and development steps for system enhancements or modifications. Reviews system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine feasibility of requested changes. Designs and implements hybrid and multi-cloud network architectures, ensuring secure connectivity, high availability, disaster recovery, and compliance with enterprise architecture standards. Collaborates with cloud, security, and infrastructure teams to support migrations, optimize network performance, and establish governance standards and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8 years of extensive experience
    in network architecture across AWS and on-premises environments
  • 8 years of experience
    with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), network segmentation, and firewall technologies
  • 8 years of hands-on experience
    with hybrid connectivity solutions, including VPN, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateway
  • 8 years of experience
    applying network security principles, including encryption, identity, and compliance frameworks
  • 8 years of experience
    designing high availability, load balancing, and failover strategies
  • 8 years of experience
    using network automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible, including CI/CD integration

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8 years of previous experience
    with multi-cloud networking (Azure and/or GCP)
  • 8 years of knowledge of
    Zero Trust architecture and advanced security models
  • 8 years of previous experience
    with SD-WAN technologies and network observability tools (NetFlow, CloudWatch, Prometheus)
  • 8 years of knowledge of
    cloud networking cost optimization strategies
  • Industry certifications such as AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, Cisco CCNP/CCIE, or Azure Network Engineer Associate
