About the role:
At Causaly, we're building a category-defining platform that transforms how researchers think, discover, and make decisions in biomedicine. We're looking for a Technical Solutions Consultant to join our Go-To-Market team, partnering with Account Executives, Strategic Client Partners and Scientific Solutions Consultants to help prospective clients understand how Causaly's technology can integrate into their data ecosystems and accelerate their R&D.

As a key member of the pre-sales organization, you'll bring together expertise in data, analytics, and life sciences to design and communicate end-to-end solutions that demonstrate the scientific and technical value of Causaly's AI platform. You'll play a central role in shaping technical strategy during the sales cycle - leading discovery conversations, designing solution architectures, and guiding customers through proofs-of-concept that showcase Causaly's impact on research efficiency and decision-making.

What you'll be doing:
As part of Causaly's Go-To-Market team, you'll serve as both a technical architect and trusted scientific partner - bridging complex data workflows with real-world research use cases. You'll collaborate across Sales, Product, and Engineering to tailor solutions that fit each customer's environment, ensuring every engagement reflects the scalability, integration potential, and credibility of Causaly's technology.

You will:

  • Partner with Account Executives, Strategic Client Partners and Scientific Solutions Consultants to drive all technical aspects of the pre-sales process - from discovery to solution design and validation.
  • Lead conversations with R&D, Digital, and IT stakeholders of varying seniority to understand data environments, workflows, and integration requirements.
  • Design and communicate technical architectures illustrating how Causaly connects with internal systems, APIs, and analytics platforms.
  • Deliver engaging demonstrations and proofs-of-concept that highlight Causaly's AI-driven insights and technical feasibility.
  • Support enterprise evaluations and RFPs, providing accurate technical responses and solution documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to scope integrations, share customer feedback, and inform the technical roadmap.
  • Develop reusable demo environments, solution templates, and technical enablement materials to scale best practices across the team.

What we're looking for:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Systems Biology, Pharmacology, or related field.
  • 3+ years experience in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, or solutions consulting in a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment.
  • Strong understanding of data and analytics workflows, with AI/ML aptitude and interest in how these technologies transform life sciences research.
  • Knowledge of pharma or biotech R&D processes, such as target discovery, biomarker identification, mechanism of action, or translational research.
  • Familiarity with data platforms, AI/NLP tools, and knowledge graphs (nice to have but not essential).
  • Comfortable with APIs, data interoperability, and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills - able to translate complex technical and scientific ideas for both scientific and IT audiences.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to deliver customer value.
