Summary

We are a Print, Direct Mail and Integrated Marketing organization accepting applications for a Variable Data Programmer / Document Composer. Ideal candidates must be proficient in Adobe InDesign and XMPie. General knowledge of USPS addressing and barcode regulations and BCC Mail Manager experience is a PLUS. This position is on first shift but requires flexibility for overtime when the schedule demands.

Responsibilities

  • Review initial Project management instructions and supplied creative.
  • Review FPO to confirm all data fields were supplied by Data Processing.
  • Lay out customers' creative in InDesign according to customer specifications and outputs for color and B/W digital printers.
  • Confirm layout is compliant with USPS postal regulations.
  • Utilize XMPie to insert variable data into creative for digital inline printing.
  • Prepare Live Data proofs/signoffs for customer review and approval.
  • Compose file for Digital printing.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and XMPie.
  • General knowledge of USPS addressing and barcode regulations a plus.
  • A minimum of one year XMPIE Program experience is a plus.
  • BCC Mail Manager experience is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • BA/ BS degree highly desired
  • Must be willing to learn new technologies
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must possess good decision making skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and stay on target under pressure and tight timelines.
  • Background check and drug test required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
