SBG Boynton Beach is launching the
first SBG Jiu-Jitsu gym in Florida
, and we're looking for a
high-level Head Coach
who wants more than just a coaching job — someone hungry to help build a
world-class academy, culture, and community
from day one.

Straight Blast Gym is one of the most respected teams in the world, producing elite fighters and champions including
Conor McGregor
, as well as many top MMA and BJJ athletes globally. Despite the global reputation, SBG has
little presence in Florida
, making this a rare opportunity to be part of something that can scale into multiple locations.

What You'll Do

As Head Coach, you will lead and build the academy through:

  • Running
    high-level adult and youth BJJ programs
  • Developing structured class plans + curriculum (all levels)
  • Building a strong culture of discipline, humility, consistency, and community
  • Coaching for competition and performance
    (as applicable)
  • Helping recruit and mentor assistant coaches
  • Supporting new student onboarding & retention
  • Collaborating with ownership on growth strategy, marketing initiatives, and member experience
  • Helping establish systems + standards that can scale into a second location

  • Proven coach with experience leading programs and managing classes

  • Comfortable with responsibility and ownership-level execution
  • Hungry to grow — and wants to be part of building something big

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Head Coach / Lead Coach experience
  • Strong technical foundation + ability to teach beginners to advanced
  • Competition coaching experience is a plus (BJJ and/or MMA)
  • Experience building or scaling a gym program is a major plus
