This position plays a vital role in ensuring the facility operates smoothly by supporting maintenance activities that keep our environment safe, clean, and comfortable for residents and staff.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks including repairing and servicing equipment, fixtures, and facilities.
- Assist with preventative maintenance and inspections to identify issues before they escalate.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and safety equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Assist with building repairs, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and grounds keeping as needed.
- On call availability
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
