Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and medical administrative support, with experience in various medical settings. This role involves supporting healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring efficient clinic operations.
Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations.
- Perform intake assessments, including obtaining vital signs and medical histories.
- Administer medications as directed by physicians and monitor patients for reactions.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems to document patient information accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Skills
- Proficient in medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and physiology knowledge.
- Experience with ICD coding for accurate billing and documentation.
- Familiarity with EHR systems for efficient patient management.
