Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Bankruptcy Attorney — junior or senior level — with commercial litigation and/or collection/execution experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle bankruptcy filings, manage creditor matters, participate in commercial collections and executions, draft and argue motions, and collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality legal services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle commercial bankruptcy and creditor/debtor litigation matters from inception through resolution.
  • Conduct collections and execution work, including asset recovery and enforcement.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and settlement documents.
  • Participate in hearings, mediations, and court appearances.
  • Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and support staff to achieve client goals.
  • Manage a caseload independently while maintaining high standards of client service.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission in Missouri, or eligibility to obtain quickly.
  • Experience in commercial litigation, collections, executions, or bankruptcy (level of experience may vary based on seniority).
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters effectively and work as part of a team.
