Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of computer management, networking, and customer service to effectively assist users with various technical issues.

Duties

  • Provide technical support for hardware and software issues across various operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Manage and troubleshoot computer networking issues, including VPN and firewall configurations.
  • Assist users with desktop support, ensuring that all IT-related problems are resolved efficiently.
  • Utilize help desk software such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, or Jira to track and manage support requests.
  • Conduct software troubleshooting to resolve application-related issues promptly.
  • Maintain computer hardware and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and enhance user experience.
  • Communicate effectively with users to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in IT support or a similar role with a strong focus on technical support and customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • Knowledge of computer networking concepts, including LAN configurations and firewall management.
  • Experience with desktop support practices and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with users at all levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with help desk tools such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, or Jira is preferred.
