The Job At-A-Glance:
As a Housekeeper at CLS Living, you play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and presentation of the property—supporting a positive experience for residents, guests, and the onsite team. You are a key contributor to our commitment to exceptional service, operational excellence, and first-class environments that reflect the CLS brand.
Key Responsibilities:Customer Experience & Service
Provide first-class customer service to residents, prospects, and team members.
Respond promptly and professionally to all resident and staff requests.
Maintain friendly and respectful communication in all interactions.
Clean and maintain all common areas, offices, hallways, stairwells, basements, grounds, and exterior areas.
Ensure model units, amenity spaces, and vacant apartments are clean and presentable at all times.
Follow cleaning protocols and schedules to maintain property standards consistently.
Identify and respond to any safety hazards or potential liabilities across the property.
Work with the maintenance and office teams to coordinate service requests and unit turnover cleaning.
Assist with grounds upkeep, including landscaping cleanliness and outdoor appearance.
Maintain a clean and organized housekeeping/maintenance supply area.
Complete all housekeeping-related work orders in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
Ensure proper documentation and photo evidence for any resident-caused damages for billing purposes.
Follow all safety regulations, property policies, and OSHA guidelines.
Ensure cleaning supplies are used and stored properly in compliance with safety standards.
Participate in training sessions and keep necessary certifications up to date.
Communicate needs, ideas, and concerns to the Manager clearly and proactively.
Assist in fostering a positive work environment and contribute to team morale.
Support community events and resident functions when needed.
Conduct daily property walks to ensure the community is clean, safe, and welcoming.
Suggest improvements to enhance curb appeal and resident satisfaction.
Qualifications
Experience in housekeeping, custodial, or janitorial work preferred.
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of cleanliness and presentation.
Self-motivated, reliable, and proactive in identifying and solving problems.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A positive attitude and alignment with the CLS Living culture and values.
