What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the retail environment to assist with security-related matters and provide support to staff and patrons.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or concerns in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
• Liaise with law enforcement or emergency personnel as required during critical events or emergencies at the location.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and/or unauthorized individuals, addressing situations as outlined in site procedures.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies, alarms, or other security-related situations as needed.
• Adhere to all Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines while carrying out patrol and security-related duties at the retail location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or hold a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Possess a Level III armed certification if required by state law such as Texas.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
