JOB SUMMARY

The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) is a key part of our facility. Some of the job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Administer medications accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate and timely records
  • Provide quality resident care assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, transferring/mobility, and feeding.
  • Ensure excellent communication among staff, residents, and families.
  • Create positive resident outcomes.
  • Respect others by treating them the way we want to be treated.
  • Demonstrate kindness, compassion, honesty, and integrity at all times.
  • Help create a culture of superior customer service.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Current NC Medication Aide certification.
  • May be subject to drug testing
  • Long-term care facility experience preferred
  • Successful criminal background check
