2026 Future Talent Program

Lake Wales, Florida, United States Merck Full time $39,600 - $105,500

Job Description

The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.

International pricing (IP) processes are complex and dynamic, requiring rapid adaptation to an ever-evolving external environment. A clear understanding and control of the IP process will enable the team and management to allocate resources effectively to priority activities. It will also help identify intersections and dependencies with other teams and touchpoints where SPI is exchanged and recorded, facilitating overall enterprise operations.

Having an intern assist with mapping processes and identifying potential improvements can provide assessment and valuable recommendations from someone in the early stages of their career. While several major fields could cover these tasks, having interns from programs focused on process optimization is preferable. This allows the intern to learn from real-world processes and gives IP an unbiased perspective that helps us understand the current state of our operations and identify bottlenecks and efficiency improvements.

Main activities

  • Map the processes involved in international pricing operations

  • Identify dependencies and overlaps

  • Identify the SOPs, training, or instruction documents facilitating the execution of the IP processes.

  • Identify the inputs that IP is providing to other teams.
