The Data Engineering Intern will help design, build, and optimize data systems that support PURIS's innovation and operations. Working alongside experienced engineers and analysts, you'll learn how to convert raw manufacturing and business data into actionable insights that drive smarter, faster decisions.

Pay Rate/Range: $20.00

Pay Frequency: Biweekly

Work Location: Minneapolis HQ – Fully In Office

Time Period: Summer 2026

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining data pipelines that collect, clean, and structure information from multiple sources.
• Work with analytics and IT teams to improve data reliability, accessibility, and security.
• Support integration projects across production, quality, and supply chain systems.
• Document data flows and contributes to dashboard development using visualization tools.
• Help troubleshoot and optimize database performance for accuracy and speed.

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, or other data languages.
• Understanding of database design and ETL concepts.
• Database management
• Strong curiosity for how data can improve real-world systems like manufacturing and logistics.
