Duties

  • Greet prospective tenants warmly, providing detailed property tours and highlighting features that meet their needs
  • Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry through application approval, including data entry into property management systems such as Yardi or OneSite
  • Explain lease terms, rental policies, and legal regulations such as Fair Housing laws clearly and transparently
  • Negotiate lease agreements, contracts, and renewal terms to maximize occupancy rates while ensuring compliance with legal standards including LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations and Section 8 programs
  • Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, tenant interactions, and legal documentation through organized filing systems and data management tools like Yardi or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
  • Address resident inquiries promptly via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and conflict management skills
  • Upsell available amenities or additional services to enhance resident satisfaction and property revenue

Requirements

  • Proven experience in property leasing, property management, or real estate administrative roles with a strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations
  • Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms for data entry, reporting, and customer relationship management
  • Knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing policies, and legal administrative procedures related to lease contracts and occupancy requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills paired with effective negotiation abilities to foster positive relationships with prospective tenants and residents
  • Office experience including filing, data entry, phone etiquette, and handling administrative tasks efficiently
  • Ability to manage conflict professionally while maintaining a positive attitude in high-pressure situations
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate leasing records and legal documentation
  • Facilities management awareness for coordinating property maintenance requests when needed

Salary Range: $20.00 To $23.00 Hourly

PLUS MONTHLY COMMISSIONS

Schedule:Saturday, Sunday and Monday 9:00am – 6:00pm

Pay: $ $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 per week
