Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Car Hauler/Driver and take on the exciting challenge of transporting vehicles and freight across diverse routes In this energetic role, you'll operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, and dump trucks, ensuring safe and timely deliveries. Your expertise in commercial driving and route management will keep our operations running smoothly while providing exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities

  • Safely operate different types of trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, and roll-off trucks to transport vehicles and freight.
  • Load and unload cargo efficiently using forklifts or other equipment when necessary.
  • Drive along designated routes while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and incident reports.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely service.

Qualifications

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for tractor-trailer, flatbed, tanker, or refrigerated trailer operation.
  • Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery route driving and load & unload procedures.
  • Familiarity with manual transmission trucks is preferred.
  • Experience operating specialized equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks is a plus.
  • Knowledge of freight handling, securing loads, and safety protocols for transporting various types of cargo.
  • Ability to navigate using GPS or route planning tools efficiently.
  • Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service excellence.
