Position: Urgent Care Physician

Position Overview:

As an Urgent Care Physician, you will provide high-quality medical care to patients of all ages with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. You will work closely with a team of medical professionals to diagnose and treat patients, as well as provide preventive care and health education. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans

- Perform minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care

- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and lab work

- Prescribe medications and provide patient education on medication usage and side effects

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education opportunities

Qualifications:

- Medical degree from an accredited medical school

- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of South Carolina

- Board certification in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in urgent care or a related field

- Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a high volume of patients

- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
