THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client, a leading provider of government and public sector consulting services, seeks an experienced
Senior Data Entry Clerk
to support critical operations for the City of Charlotte. This role offers the chance to leverage your data management expertise in a meaningful public service capacity while working with a collaborative, mission-driven team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Core Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate data entry, verification, and reporting processes across multiple systems
  • Implement and monitor data integrity checks to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Liaise with IT and operational teams for system updates and integration projects
  • Support data compliance initiatives and audit readiness activities
  • May manage and mentor a small team of data entry clerks
  • Generate ad hoc reports and perform advanced data analysis as needed

WHAT YOU BRING

Required Experience:

  • 3–5 years
    in data management or operations roles
  • Proven expertise in
    database management
    and
    advanced Excel
    functions
  • Experience with government or public services sector (highly preferred)

Education:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency: Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
  • Strong competency: Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, Visio
  • Quick learner with new business systems and technologies
