POSITION TITLE: RMA � Wellness Supervisor

SUMMARY Respond to residents' requests and assist in coordination of services to residents. Assist in providing services to residents, families and guests. Provide clerical support; organize and maintain resident, and resource files; answer telephones; greet guests. Supervise staff providing direct care to residents.

SUPERVISOR: DHW /Executive Director

ESSENTIAL JOB

1. Administer medications as directed on the RESPONSIBILITIES Medication Administration Record (MAR), per doctors 'orders. Properly document administrations of medications, refusal of medication, leave of absence, and other varying circumstances in the MAR as they occur.

2. Supervise all Direct Care Staff (DCS) on Assisted Living and Innovations. Ensure that walking rounds are completed every 2 hours on AL and every 1 hour on Innovations.

3. Follow-up on Doctors� orders and complete appropriate documentation of orders in resident charts and Eldermark.

4. Verify that all necessary charting is completed prior to the arrival of the oncoming shift.

5. Handle emergencies in a calm and professional manner.

6. Monitor, retrieve, and follow-up on phone messages and emails as needed.

7. Follow RoseWood Village policy for staff call-ins.

8. Complete other tasks as directed by the Management Team.

9. Create and maintain an environment for residents, families And guests that is customer-friendly and that values and respects the uniqueness of each individual.

10. Assist in coordinating services for new move-ins

11. Verify all DCS have equipment needed and they have signed in and out for it. Only Supervisors can put radios and Ipods on the chargers.

12. Monitors staffing levels and as necessary to meet increased or decreased service demands

13. Performs any duties assigned by the DHW that contributes to the efficiency, effectiveness and satisfaction of the facility.

Qualifications

  • Current RMA License
  • Current adult CPR certification
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of or willingness and ability to learn computer programs.
  • UAI/ISP certification or willingness to obtain certification within 60 days of hire.
