Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of medications to patients.

Responsibilities:

- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications

- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; removing outdated drugs

- Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently

- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers

- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies

- Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance claims, and record-keeping

Experience:

- Previous experience working in a pharmacy setting is preferred

- Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmacy practices

- Knowledge of medication administration procedures

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed
