Job Description:

You are a collaborative financial professional who is in search of an exciting role in central BE finance. You have the ability to acquire and understand finance models/ processes/systems. You are highly motivated and work towards a result timely and accurately.

This is a critical role of Central FP&A team, supporting Cisco total Engineering Revenue and GM forecast activities, with focus on monthly fcst tracking of SW COGS/Revenue, SW type/monetarization, financial modeling, WD+3 acquisition consolidations, annual plan, and long-range plan initiatives. This role also helps automation initiatives and other Ad hoc projects.

Responsibilities

  • Monthly tracking of BE' SW COGS, commit variance, plan variance, related SW Revenue changes. Align definitions for SW COGS with Corp/Supply Chain

  • Monthly tracking of BE SW booking/revenue forecast of SW type/monetarization, interlocked with Sales finance

  • Facilitate monthly financial modeling of SW revenue forecast

  • Monthly tracking of acquisitions fcst on WD+3

  • Assist monthly revenue/GM consolidation

  • Support annual planning process: facilitate Supply chain interlock on HW and SW, to ensure accurate Revenue/Gross Margin assignment across business entities.

  • Support Annual Planning/Long Range Planning template distribution, consolidation and tie out.

  • Drive financial operational improvements, reporting automation and other efficiencies.

  • Optimize COGS control process in system, e.g, implement royalty tracker in MDM

  • Other Ad hoc projects

Who You'll Work With

Central BE FP&A, Corp FP&A, BE finance, and Supply Chain finance

Minimum requirements:

  • Experience with BE finance forecast process, be able to dive in and deliver results within tight timeline

  • Experience with various financial tools (e.g. Business Objects, and Excel)

  • Attention to detail, Finance, Accounting or Economics background, 8+ year experience

  • Work independently, effectively and proactively in a fast-paced environment

Who You'll Work With

You will be working with the FAs and Controllers in the business entities to understand their planning model.
