Position Summary:
Hospital is seeking a motivated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of emergency nursing experience and be committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.
As a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital located in the heart of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, North Country Hospital offers a supportive, team-focused atmosphere with an emphasis on patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, assessing, planning, and implementing appropriate nursing interventions.
- Triage patients and manage acute and critical cases efficiently.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Uphold safety, infection control, and quality care standards.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Current RN license (VT or compact state).
- Experience: 3–5 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required.
- Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; TNCC preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, multitasking ability, and effective communication skills.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and every other weekend.
Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract
Pay: $2, $2,730.00 per week
