Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with the ability to analyze financial data and provide exceptional customer service. This role involves preparing tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing guidance on tax-related matters.

Duties

  • Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and corporations.
  • Analyze financial information to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
  • Utilize accounting software and financial software to manage client data efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding their tax situations.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and regulations to provide accurate advice.
  • Assist clients in understanding their financial obligations and potential deductions.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in public accounting or corporate accounting is a plus.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial software applications.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building client relationships.
  • Knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
