Position Overview

We're seeking a driven individual to join our team in a flexible role that could range from Project Designer to Project Engineer, depending on experience and licensure. This position involves hands-on project design, coordination with clients and review agencies, and active participation in the construction phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce site civil design plans and reports for land development projects using Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate construction drawings and permit submittals.
• Manage projects from conceptual design through construction, including client communication and agency coordination.
• Assist with construction administration, including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals.
• Collaborate with internal team members and external consultants to deliver high-quality, buildable designs.
• Take ownership of your work and contribute to the continued development of company standards and workflows.

Qualifications

Applicants will be considered at multiple experience levels depending on qualifications.

Project Designer (Entry to Intermediate Level)

• 2–5 years of experience in site civil engineering design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Degree in civil engineering or related field preferred but not required.

Project Manager (Mid-Level)

• 5–10 years of experience in civil site design and permitting.
• Proven ability to lead design teams and manage projects independently.
• Experience coordinating with clients, municipalities, and contractors.
• Familiarity with permitting processes, utility coordination, and construction administration.

Project Engineer (Senior Level)

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required).
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Arkansas or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong technical design and analytical skills in grading, drainage, and utility design.
• Ability to lead projects from concept through construction with minimal oversight.
