We are seeking a dynamic Permanent Preconstruction Manager with a strong background in Healthcare and Commercial Projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in preconstruction planning, estimation, and project management. We are looking for a leader who can manage all preconstruction activities for projects, including project evaluation, feasibility, design, estimating, and scheduling. If you are a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the construction industry, this is the perfect opportunity for you

Responsibilities

• Oversee all preconstruction activities including project evaluation, feasibility, design, estimating, and scheduling.
• Collaborate with the project team to develop a comprehensive understanding of the project requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Conduct detailed risk assessments and develop strategic mitigation plans.
• Provide accurate and timely project estimates and budgets.
• Review and negotiate contracts and bids.
• Work closely with the construction team to ensure a smooth transition from preconstruction to construction stages.
• Lead and mentor a team of estimators and project managers.
• Attend and actively participate in project meetings, providing insights and updates on preconstruction activities.
• Ensure all preconstruction activities are in compliance with company standards and industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in preconstruction planning, estimation, and project management.
• Proven experience in commercial construction estimating and healthcare construction.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to make informed, strategic decisions.
• Knowledge of construction laws and regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must have a proactive approach to problem-solving and strong project management skills.
