Hours: 5am - 3pm, Monday through Thursday 

Job Summary:

The Press Brake Operator, you will operate a press brake machine, including changing machine tooling/dies, interpreting blueprints for quality assurance, and setting up machinery for production runs. The ideal candidate will possess a working understanding of Fabrication workflow processes and demonstrate a readiness to grasp quality control standards, machine setup procedures, and proficiency in utilizing measurement tools.

Responsibilities:

Position each piece against stops and form piece to the required angle and bendsCheck finished piece against print for correct dimensions, make adjustments to the press brake as neededRead and interpret shop drawings to perform brake operationsMaintains and adjusts set ups as requiredMaintains and communicates stock level of partsReports promptly any and all problems concerning safety, quality, equipment and productionOperates brake as process and policy requirements indicate to ensure proper set up and operations is followed and maintainedInspects product to ensure levels of quality and quantity are met as established by the companyTrouble shoot any issues that may arise with the machineFollow instructions per order for correct quantity and material sizesMeasuring parts with a dial caliper or tape measure.Set-up and operate fabrication equipment Operate equipment in a safe professional mannerMaintains a clean, organized workstation at all timesOther duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

Have a technical aptitude for mechanical equipmentSolid background working with sheet metalKnowledge of tooling and tool maintenanceProven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal and metric conversion skillsAbility to read blueprintsAbility to read a tape measure and caliperAbility to distinguish material types including Aluminum, Steel and Stainless SteelCandidate must be reliable, regular attendance is requiredExcellent work ethic with the ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision while meeting all product quality requirements
