  • Position is on-site in Irving/Dallas, TX, Monday - Friday**

Job Purpose
The Facility Maintenance Technician will be essential in maintaining the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role involves conducting routine maintenance, repairs, including light plumbing and electrical work. In addition to general building repairs, you will also assist with office maintenance tasks, such as mounting TVs, changing light bulbs, relocating furniture, and other related activities. Must have a "go-getter/take initiative" personality.

Summary Of Essential Job Duties

  • Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs.
  • Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
  • Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
  • Repair or replace broken fixtures, equipment, and appliances.
  • Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools.

  • Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into spaces.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Required Education And Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
