Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join a concierge primary care practice. We are a small outpatient private practice specializing in internal medicine. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and the ability to provide comprehensive care to adult patients across various settings. This role involves performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating health conditions, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The Nurse Practitioner will play a vital role in patient education and support. Excellent communication skills are a must. Phlebotomy skills are required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patients' health status.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, including providing treatment plans.
  • Monitor vital signs and interpret diagnostic tests to inform treatment decisions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a teaching hospital environment to enhance patient care.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and disease prevention.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
  • Phlebotomy

Experience

  • A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program is required.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner certification with relevant licensure is essential.
  • Experience in internal medicine.
  • Proficiency in anatomy knowledge, suturing techniques, and behavioral health practices is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to teach patients effectively about their health conditions.
