This role is pivotal in improving the lives of people with disabilities by enabling them to actively participate in everyday life. As a Home Access Lift Technician, you will perform installations and repairs of lift systems under the guidance of our experienced lift team, sales associate, and home access manager. Your responsibilities will include gathering materials for job sites, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, assisting with the installation of various lift systems, and interacting with clients to explain basic services. You will also be responsible for running errands for materials and tools, ensuring compliance with Home Access standards and applicable codes/regulations, and maintaining tools and equipment. This position offers on-the-job training, with the expectation that you will actively seek to improve your skills and knowledge. Additional training may be provided by the manufacturer, with travel expenses covered by the company.Required SkillsAbility to operate a motor vehicle and maintain personal insuranceCapability to navigate over urban, suburban, and rural areasFluency in verbal and written EnglishPhysical ability to move equipment and interact with clients and equipment in various environmentsAbility to routinely carry/lift items up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 poundsProficiency in climbing ladders and crawling in atticsKnowledge of tools and equipment related to lift installations and repairsStrong interpersonal skills for client interaction and team collaborationAttention to detail and adherence to safety guidelines and standardsWillingness to undergo drug testing as per company policyRequired ExperienceExperience in a technical or mechanical role is preferredPrior experience with lift systems installation and repair is advantageousBackground in construction, carpentry, or related fields is beneficialProven track record of working under supervision and following instructionsExperience in customer service or client-facing roles is desirableHistory of maintaining tools and equipment and managing inventoryExperience with on-the-job training and continuous skill improvementFamiliarity with industry standards and regulations related to home access solutionsPrevious experience in a role requiring physical labor and manual dexterityValid driver's license with a clean driving recordAt Numotion, we offer competitive compensation packages, including medical, dental and vision insurance, short-term and long-term disability, a 401k, and life insurance.
