Housekeeper

Schedule: Evening Shift – 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. (with an every other weekend commitment)

Location: Wilmington, DE

Department: Environmental Services

Reports to: Supervisor

Position Purpose:

St. Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid Atlantic is looking for an experienced Environmental Services Associate (Housekeeper) to join our team 

What You Will Do:

  • Provide routine cleaning service to assigned areas, by following established procedures and schedules. 
  • Meets all scheduling requirements and direction from supervisors to complete routine housekeeping/laundry services to include dust and wet mopping of floors, vacuuming, dusting and damp wiping of surfaces, wall washing, trash collection and removal, cleaning of restrooms and patient areas, and non-clinical areas and all other assigned duties.
  • Sort, load and unload linen into and from dryers. Feed/receive linen into or from ironer/folder. Fold and stack linen and load cart.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS diploma or equivalency (preferred)

  • 1-2 years EVS/Housekeeping experience
