Until now, Abogados W has focused exclusively on Immigration Law — but due to strong client demand, we are expanding into Family Law and launching a brand-new Family Law Division. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated attorney to become the first attorney exclusively dedicated to Family Law at our firm and play a key role in shaping this new practice area.

The Opportunity:

This is not a typical associate position. We're looking for a driven, entrepreneurial Family Law Attorney who wants to take ownership, help build systems from the ground up, and grow quickly into a leadership role. You'll work directly with firm leadership, receive hands-on support, and be at the forefront of establishing a thriving Family Law department.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a growing caseload of family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and related issues.
  • Handle SIJ (Special Immigrant Juvenile) cases in coordination with the firm's immigration team.
  • Work with leadership to design processes, workflows, and best practices for the new division.
  • Provide compassionate, professional representation to clients.
  • Collaborate on marketing and outreach to Florida's Hispanic community.
  • Help recruit, train, and mentor future team members as the division expands.

Qualifications:

  • Member in Good Standing of the Florida Bar (Required)
  • Fluent in Spanish (Required)
  • 1+ year of Family Law experience preferred (Litigation experience also considered)
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude — comfortable managing a high-volume caseload.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and client-relations skills.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and desire for growth.
