About the Role

The Operations Project Manager plays a key role in driving execution, efficiency, and cross-functional alignment across all areas of Operations. This role supports major operational initiatives—such as facilities and warehouse enhancements, process improvements, and production-related projects—while ensuring timelines, communication, and deliverables remain on track.

This individual acts as a strategic partner and "second-in-command" to the Director of Operations, helping coordinate workflow, guide project execution, and relay critical updates across teams. The role is highly collaborative and interfaces regularly with Shipping, Logistics, Inventory, Biomed, Sales, Accounting, and other internal groups.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Execution

  • Build and maintain project timelines, ensuring milestones are met and stakeholders remain informed and on task.

  • Identify risks and barriers to project execution and escalate as appropriate.

  • Drive continuous process improvement across operations, proposing innovative solutions that increase efficiency and reduce bottlenecks.

Operational Support & Coordination

  • Assist the Director of Operations with workflow management, coordination, and day-to-day operational oversight.

  • Serve as an execution partner for the Director of Operations.

  • Support production planning activities, ensuring information flow between teams remains clear, accurate, and timely.

  • Provide material and status updates to relevant teams to ensure smooth handoffs and alignment across departments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Shipping, Logistics, Biomed, and Inventory teams to ensure project requirements are understood and executed.

  • Serve as a communication bridge between Operations and other departments, including Sales, Accounting and Service, to resolve issues and streamline processes.

Innovation & Process Improvement

  • Evaluate existing operational workflows and recommend changes that improve efficiency, accuracy, and throughput.

  • Help implement new tools, systems, or procedures that enhance operational performance.

  • Encourage a continuous improvement mindset across all Operations teams.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and timeline-management skills; able to keep complex projects on schedule.

  • Excellent communicator with the ability to relay clear, concise updates across multiple departments.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.

  • Analytical mindset with a talent for identifying process gaps and proposing solutions.

  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in production planning or operations coordination.

  • Familiarity with warehouse workflows, inventory management, or logistics.
