Job Summary And Qualifications
Supervises the daily warehouse Operations activities for the Consolidated Services Center (CSC) based in Springfield, MO. Under the general oversight of the Director of Distribution Operations for the Consolidated Services Center, this position is responsible for supervision of materials, resources and staff that effectively support the logistical and materials storage needs of all Health System functions and departments. Must ensure department meets financial and operational goals set by the Director and Sr. Leaders. Direct supervision of Material Handler staff in the support of the Director in achieving optimal combinations of efficiency and quality are major responsibilities of this position. Ensuring the highest level of staff function for order fulfillment, and optimal receipt and storage techniques are the key goals of this position. Regular duties include training and motivating staff, utilization of computer systems to manage inventory and process, and adherence to the goals and philosophy of Sisters of Mercy Health System. Performs all duties and responsibilities in a manner that is consistent with our mission, values and Mercy Service Standards.

• Ensures productivity of Operations Personnel is within a range set by the Director of Distribution Operations
• Maintains a safety program and adheres to all governmental regulations and company guidelines for safety in a warehouse environment.
• Monitors daily productivity and weekly error reports and ensure all personnel are aware of the target and their personal performance.
• Ensures daily transition from receiving to shipping is efficient and that all processes are complete between shifts.
• Assists the Director of Distribution Operations in creating efficiencies in slotting logic throughout the Consolidated Services Center.
• Works with SSUs and other corporate entities to ensure resolution of issues related to receiving and/or invoicing for products stocked and cross-docked at the Consolidated Services Center.
• Assists in the implementation of distribution systems and procedures which efficiently deliver resources in a timely and appropriate manner in support of clinical and operational functions.
• Monitors customer service levels to ensure distribution systems meet the needs of the Health System based on customer-driven criteria.
• Assists in the implementation of computerized and automated systems.
• Ensures personnel compliance with governmental, Health System and departmental regulations, policies and procedures.
• Utilizes performance-based evaluation criteria built from customer-driven goals.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Five years' experience in distribution & leadership Required
